Select historical map layers from Details: Show Contents of Map, and select or deselect layers to overlay the maps.
The red pins on the map below show a collection of plans and ideas for the early design of Canberra. Click on the pins to revel more information about the points on the map.
The purple points show photos of Canberra in development between 1910 - 1960.
The blue pins are images submitted by users.

This work “Mapping Canberra” is a derivative of An Alternative Canberra by Walter Scott Griffiths from the collection of the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia.
