MORE ABOUT MAPPING CANBERRA

We hope that you have enjoyed our ‘Mapping Canberra’ experience. 
 
If you love Canberra, like we do, and have the authentic photos of Canberra-in-the-making to share, you are welcome to submit to our map. 

However, note that to preserve a safe environment and the original objectives of this project, you photos must comply with the below: 

• Your photo should be taken between the 1900s - 1960s. 

• You should have the rights of ownership or entitled rights to share the photos without conflict of ownership with another party. The project team is not responsible for any violation of copyrights made by the contributor.  

 
 Every submission should include the details of the photo including:  

(1)  Date/time taken 
(2) The location where the photo is taken 
(3) Author of the photo/Credit 
(4) Declaration of ownership or rights to distribute the material  

(5) Story or description of the photo 

The content of the photo and the description must NOT contain any of the following:  

+ Violence against any person, group or animals 
+ Explicit or sexual image 
+ Imagery showing inappropriate details (i.e. massive injuries or blood) that may 
shock or disgust the viewer 
+ Imagery that may cause potential distress to the Aboriginal and Torres Straits 
Islanders (i.e. an image of a passed away person)
